Our Team

Kenneth Nelson is responsible for engineering, construction, optimization and operational support for gas gathering, and processing for Cardinal. He has over 16 years of experience in midstream gas gathering, treating and processing for both midstream and exploration and production companies. Mr. Nelson has experience in the Permian Basin, Delaware Basin, Bakken, Texas Gulf Coast and Eagleford Shale.

Prior to joining Cardinal, Mr. Nelson served as Director of Process Engineering at Cogent Midstream (Canes) where he was responsible for system planning, project management and operations engineering support. Prior to Cogent, Mr. Nelson held various engineering and operations support roles at Apache, Howard Energy, Marathon Oil, Targa Resources.

Kenneth graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University-Kingsville with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Kenneth, his wife, and three children live in Farmers Branch.
